It is a Universal Truth that for substantial growth of life, change is as essential as the oxygen to breathe. At initial, every change brings discomfort to the mental state. Be it a change of job, house, territory, relations et al. This discomfort invites an unending flow of thoughts and emotions, fear, and doubts. Eventually, all collectively bring a toll on physical and mental sanity.

One can not give a healthy start to the new change with the vulnerable mind and body unless he/she has prepared his mind for the change. A prepared, calm mind has the power to accept things in the same way they come. Any kind of unfavorability doesn’t shake their sanity.

Preparation is the only key to deal with any kind of change in life. Change is the only constant thing in the whole world. So, why not learn the ways to prepare ourselves for any change?

5 Aspects To Consider While Change

Ask Yourself:

1. Who are you? What role do you play in your life?

2. What are your values and beliefs?

3. What comes in your top 3 priority list?

4. What are you doing as per your current behavior?

5. Where, when, and with whom do you display your behavior?

6. Who is around you? When and where do you behave in certain ways?

7. Is change comforting you emotionally, mentally, physically, or economically? or Is change required for anything?

The answer to the above questions is going to clear your vision regarding the effect that would come by the change.

Devote Yourself For Action

Chunk down your bigger plans into small steps. make a chart of your weekly progress. Have a separate section for contingency plans. What if things do not go the way you expect, jot down your next move to reach the goal.

Be Focused

Keep asking yourself how this change could make you more aligned to validate your vision.

Make Pros And Con List

Fear and doubt come hand in hand when change happens. No matter how confident you are in your decisions there is always an iota of either one that pulls you back to the comfort zone. To deal with the situation cleverly make two lists:

  • Prepare a list of positive and negative outcomes of NOT CHANGING.
  • Second a list of positive and negative outcomes of CHANGE.

Compare both on the ground all kinds of changes Mental, emotional, physical, economic, ecological, etc.

Gather Information/ Listen To The Experienced People In Concerned Field

The most reliable and fastest way to talk to others, listen to others to prepare yourself for the change you are going to make in your job, business, relations, trade, or anything. You don’t need to make mistakes to learn something. Mistakes committed by others, learnings by others, problems faced by others, help to a high extent in avoiding/removing the hurdles that suppose to comes your way too. Only what you need to do is to communicate with the right people, to join the right tribe.

Ending it with the famous quote by Mr. Barak Obama, Former President Of The United States Of America

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time we are the one’s we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”.

Most of the time the change is not controllable, still, we can turn the velocity of winds in our favor by preparing our minds for the change! Those who accept the change with a positive mind surely gift themselves the most precious gift and i.e. a healthy happy life.
